Punkin' Shell

The color, the texture, that says "autumn" more than any other: the skin of a fresh ripe pumpkin. So many lovely shades of orange at this time of year: not only pumpkin shells, but orange peel, and leather jackets, and falling leaves. I've edited this texture photo so many times I've lost track of what it was when I snapped the shutter. I'm pretty sure it was a pumpkin, but I can't be certain, and does it really matter? It's that warm golden color, and in my book that's all that counts. For now, let's call it Pun'kin, okay?
