The default card shape is standard sharp corners, but rounded corners also work wonderfully with this design, so try both looks in editing mode and see which strikes your fancy. On the front we've given this minimalist design a warm touch with a Merry Christmas greeting in a relaxed script that feels intimate and familiar. You can change the wording, color, font or text size of any of the text. You might, for example, change 'Merry Christmas' to Happy Holidays' or something else, or give it a different color. The 'Merry Christmas' and the name text on the front is black by default. On the front of the card we've set the background of the border as transparent to let the color of the paper simply serve as the base tone. You can change this by picking a color in the editing tools if you'd like. On the back we've chosen a background color called White Smoke. It's a very light gray that's mostly white. We've added a layer with a dot pattern on top of that. Please check the photo in closeup mode to see this more clearly. Then, if you decide that you prefer to remove the dots, you can delete that layer, and you can also change the White Smoke background tone if you'd like. We've picked a gray tone as the default color for the text on the back. We've put some placeholder text on the back for you to replace with your own message, but please don't feel restricted by this. If you prefer to delete our placeholder text and then keep the back totally blank so that you can write a handwritten note on each card instead, you can of course do that. Or you might want to replace our text with your own message and your own closing and then hand sign your names when you receive the cards. We've chosen matte as the default paper type, as it is well suited to writing your own message on and won't smudge and complements this natural, understated design well. But you can of course change this to semi-gloss if you prefer a brighter look, and don't forget to check out zazzle's selection of premium papers!
