THESOBERWARNING

This store was born out of a necessity for people to hear the straight truth with no beating around the bush. The truth is getting harder to find these days. There is a truth that is so brutally sobering that it is next to forbidden to verbally utter a word about it above your breath without invoking scorn from the hearer. That truth is the sobering fact that those who step into eternity without having ever personally received Jesus Christ as Savior will not be allowed entrance into Heaven. It is this stark reality that all must realize the danger they are in. Death can come at any moment for anyone, anywhere at any time. The other brutal truth is that the God of Heaven is watching each and every individual's decision on what they do with Jesus. Who was/is Jesus? The answer is that He was/is the second member of the Triune Godhead. The divinely inspired text that we know as the Bible informs us that He was God who came to Earth to die a brutal death upon the cross in order to satisfy the justice of a perfect God - God the Father. This selfless act is the only remedy that God offers for the dire situation that every man and woman finds themselves in - whether they know it or not and whether they believe it or not. It is humanity's hard-to-accept truth of those words that sheds light in Jesus' sobering words when he warned that the majority of humanity will not make it to Heaven. Although we are informed in the Bible that there will be a great multitude of people from all ages in Heaven, when compared to the number of people who will be shut out and damned, that number is in the minority. It is for this reason that Jesus uttered the following sobering words ... “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14).
