THE KIDDIE PATCH

I'm the mother to two four-legged children...Jodi and Benji...who are both rescues from our local shelters in Davie, Florida. I'm an avid animal lover and have been a vegan for many years, mainly because I can't stand the thought of killing and eating the beautiful animal souls on our planet. I have a collection of over 100 vegan and vegetarian cookbooks, but I know I'll never have enough time to try out all the recipes. Maybe in my next life. Before I entered the graphic arts field, I was a singer-comedienne and traveled all over the world playing nightclubs and theatres. In 1971 I was honored to be able to entertain our troops during the Viet Nam war and traveled to Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Okinawa. God bless our fighting men and women of the armed forces. They are truly my heroes.
