I enjoy photographing flowers. The challenge is discovering the flowers just after they have fully bloomed, while they are still beautifully fragile and before the birds and bugs have made the flower their meal. The camera lens always finds more detail to the blossoms then can be seen at first glance. I am always grateful that after taking many photos of one particular flower, I have one image that I believe is worthy of sharing with others.
