Semuc Champey is a spectacular natural limestone bridge hidden deep in the jungle of northern Guatemala. Beneath the bridge, the Cahabón River thunders through a long underground cavern, while above it a chain of stepped, turquoise pools forms one of the most beautiful swimming areas in Central America. These pools are fed by mineral-rich spring water that creates vivid shades of blue and green, especially under the tropical sun.
