Invitación Doggy Christmas Postcard

This winter holiday or Christmas post card can be used as a party invitation or a greeting card. I designed this card using my original watercolor and marker painting that I designed for my boss. I am pretty proud of how it turned out. I free-handed the dog designs myself by looking at pug photos because my boss has pugs and I wanted to design a painting just for her. Her favorite color is pink, which is why the lights on the tree are all pink. Sometimes, snow looks pink, so I ended up using pink for the shadows. I sort of let the sky design itself by flooding the background with water and dripping in some blue paint. I love stars and star designs, so I'm really happy with how the five-point stars in the background make the six-pointed Nativity star atop the tree stand out. I had a great time making this piece.
