Wedding~Pale Green Winter Pine Cone Watercolor

One lone pine cone hanging from a tree in the middle of winter is so serene. I came upon this image when I was out walking my neighborhood after a winter storm. The pine cone really stood out in the starkness of the winter. I took the original photo and turned it into a watercolor which gives it a different feel and representation of the original image. Using it originally for an invitation, I made the image more opaque so that you just get a hint of it in the background and superimposed the original watercolor on top of that. I like the layered look. Perfect for a winter wedding!
