Universe of Mandalas

They say that a Mandala is a schematic representation of the cosmos, chiefly characterized by a concentric configuration of geometric shapes. Carl Jung stated that it was a symbol representing the effort to reunify the self. The word mandala is a Sanskrit term that means “circle” or “discoid object” while in Hindu and Buddhist Tantrism, it is a symbolic diagram used in the performance of sacred rites and as an instrument of meditation. The mandala is basically a representation of the universe, a consecrated area that serves as a receptacle for the gods and as a collection. This is why I create mandalas, it is a perfect way to carry a little bit of universal peace around with you.
