The White Rabbit as herald (John Tenniel)

Designs inspired by John Tenniel's depiction of The White Rabbit, when he appears as the herald of the King and Queen of Hearts. The White Rabbit looks so splendid in his herald's costume, decorated with red hearts, and with the scroll and trumpet in his hands. In Lewis Carroll's story he's announcing the charges against the Knave of Hearts (for tart burglary), but in many of my designs he's become a messenger of much happier events, like birthday and holiday greetings, as well as graduations.
