The Golden Age Of Hollywood

The Golden Age Of Hollywood The Roaring 20's or sometimes referred to as the Jazz Age saw a generation of young people trying to find a way to escape some of the hard times after the war and seek the glitter of a new lifestyle in the set's of the movie theatre's. Drastic fashion changes had taken place for both women and men as many of them displayed tremendous courage to leave their homes in the East and to head for the hill's of Hollywood - and my father, at the early age of 19 was one of the adventurers who traveled in a model T Ford along with a friend and they made that long rough journey all the way from Brooklyn New York to Hollywood California and traveled along the now historic Route 66.
