Saiga tatarica ssp. tatarica is on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. This Antelope species is a nomadic herding speciec that inhabit grasslands and deserts of Central Asia. It is endangered by humans and climate changes. The horns of males are used in Traditional Asian Medicine.
