Rosh Hashanah

The Jewish Calendar is a combination Lunar and Solar calendar and for that reason the dates of Jewish Holidays seem to wiggle around in the modern Western Calendar. Rosh Hashanah is known in English as "the Jewish New Year." It is one of our Holiest of celebrations. Sending greeting cards is a terrific way to cement a friendship (or other relationship) with a Jewish person.
