Redouté, Wreath of Roses

Collection inspired by a really beautiful and colorful rose wreath by Pierre-Joseph Redouté (Wreath of Roses, Frontispiece for 'Les Roses', 1817.) It contains designs for Mother's Day (greeting cards, sticker, ornament, keychain) and also an invitation for graduations. Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759 – 1840) was a painter and botanist from Belgium, known for his watercolors of roses, lilies and other flowers. He was nicknamed "the Raphael of flowers" and has also been called the greatest botanical illustrator of all time. Unlike others he worked from live plants rather than herbarium specimens, which contributed to his fresh, subtle renderings.
