PRINCE PATCHES D'ORCA - ORCA WHALE

ABOUT: PRINCE PRINCE PATCHES D’ORCA (Orca Whale) Prince Patches D’Orca is a young orca whale. He is fun and mischievous and often bucks royal protocol. He is often spoutin’ off which often gets him into trouble. He hates to eat seaweed and thinks it’s spinach. Prince Patches is very adventurous and hard to keep in one place. He is very protective of his little brother, Sky, although they could not be more different. He loves to put on a show for kids and other whales, especially the beautiful Princess Royal, Princess Starr. He is famous for riding big waves and his breaching and lob-tailing are legendary. Prince Patches spouts whale mail through his magic blowhole and fireworks on special occasions. Orca whales are also from the dolphin family. They are the largest of all dolphins. They are the most widely distributed of all whales and dolphins and found in every ocean. They are identified by their distinctive black and white colors. The white markings on their blubber are round or oblong and are often called patches. Like Prince Patches, orcas are highly social creatures. Like all young whales they are taught what to eat, where to find their food and what marine life to avoid for their safety. Orcas are also taught the different sounds and vocalizations attributed to the various groups of orca pods in different oceans. They are all related, but like “distant cousins”.
