Inspired by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who was silenced on the floor of the U.S. Senate when she attempted to read Coretta Scott King's words of opposition to Attorney General nominee Jeff Sessions. It was said that "She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted." Warren later replied, "They can shut me up, but they can't change the truth."
