MacLeod Scottish Clan's Dunvegan Castle, Skye

Dunvegan Castle has been the seat of the MacLeod of MacLeod, chief of the Clan MacLeod, since the 1200s. The structure is thought to have originated as a Norse fort (dun) and developed over the years. Its current appearance in a mock Medieval style dates to renovations in the 19th century.
