LOVE + LIGHT

"Love and light" has been my mantra for over a decade and my digital signature/end tag on emails, texts etc. These four images originated while shooting "edison bulbs" with my iphone, while on my shift, hosting at a restaurant. I thought many of the images were cool, but never made any association to letters, or my life mantra. It wasn't til viewing the group of thumbnails on my computer, that I immediately saw what has now come to be. The "O" and "V" were not manipulated or edited beyond basics, (contrast and saturation, luminance etc) however, I digitally removed portions of the filament in the "L" and "E" to aid visual recognition of what was obvious to me. LOVE, written with/by LIGHT, is a beautiful reminder to embrace "love and light."
