"Let's Go!" by Beck Haga

Recommended for 4 months + (Reading to newborns is highly recommended however, they can't see in color just yet...) Following your child's development, and the Montessori Method, this story will serve as a great reminder to parents and caregivers that many of the tools we are searching for are right outside our front door! This story encourages the bond between child and nature. From as early as the first month, the outdoors can provide us with a treasure-trove of activities that will not only support Baby’s development of both movement and language, but give Baby some important fresh air and expose them, as well as their caregivers, to the stress-releasing benefits of nature. Trees, leaves, flowers and waves are nature’s own mobiles. We can lay with Baby under a tree in their early weeks, watch the leaves, insects and birds and talk to baby about what we see. As Baby starts to reach and grasp, nature can provide some of our first toys, crinkling leaves, pulling on grass, holding onto twigs and grasping for rocks. And when Baby starts walking, it is helpful for them to experience moving on different surfaces. So, Let’s Go! Outside and see what there is to explore!
