“Hope Blossoms”

Print from original painting “Hope Blossoms” by Linda W Clark. A cardinals' song means spring is coming!! Many think that the sighting of a cardinal is a sign of good luck or loyalty. Often it is believed to be a symbol of vitality or a spiritual message. Ephesians 1:7 states, "Christ sacrificed his life's blood to set us free, which means that our sins are now forgiven." As a Christian, the blood of Christ is the heart of our message and the hope is everlasting life. In my painting, the cardinal sings in the cherry tree among it's spring blooms that shows there is new life even in the snow and the old white country church represents the new life of a Christian. It is my hope that during the difficult and dark times when we are stressed and in despair we can always find encouragement and hope in God, knowing "Hope Blossoms" in Jesus Christ our Savior.
