Endangered Hand Painted Ornate Eagle Ray

ENDANGERED The Ornate Eagle Ray is the largest ray found in the western and eastern Indian Ocean, the northwest and western central Pacific Ocean. They are viviparous ,where the embryos are kept inside a female until hatched. This makes them highly susceptible to fishing by commercial fisheries. As they are demersal fish, they are vulnerable to the inshore demersal fisheries. Conservation: Little has been done because of its vast habitat.
