Cogit Amor Tartan

This tartan represents the official motto of the Joss/Joyce Family Association, Cogit Amor, which translated into English is Love Compels. Originally granted to Laird William Joass (1732-1707) in 1672, this motto was adopted by the JJFA to symbolize its purpose to research the genealogy of the Joss/Joyce family.
