Where These Tiles Were Photograph on Catalina Island If you walk down the main street on Catalina Island towards the Casino, you will come across a walkway on the right side of the street. As you enter this area, there are a set of tiles along a brick wall as you head towards the Casino. In this area, there is a set wall mural tiles. One of those tiles is what is depicted from a scene on Catalina from back in the day, a moment in the history of Catalina Island, photographed and displayed. This tile is from an original photograph taken on Catalina Island in 2005. It is part of a collection of tiles photographed during this time era. The tiles photographed at that time were found on walls, buildings, murals and a variety of locations on Catalina Island. As time has passed, many of these tiles have disappeared, been replaced or relocated, and many of them are no longer there. Catalina Island is intriguing and unique.
