She's smiling happily, while presenting three burning candles and a basket of apples. Bringing joy, light, and gifts, she looks like a perfect image of the spirit of Christmas. Digital restoration in September 2020: Careful enhancements with respect to light, contrast and colors. Also disturbing dirt and scratches has been removed.
