If you do not agree, then some of our Pierced Clothing designs were simply not intended for you necessarily. Pierced Clothing was intended to provide an alternative from "HisWay" instead of "SubWay", "Orange Christ" instead of "Orange Crush" and Jesus Christ written in "Coca-Cola" font type of traditional Christian bookstore t-shirts which we and many others feel may often repel more people away from the Christians who wear them than they help. Don't get us wrong, we don' t hate the people who wear these, we simply dislike the design on their shirts. Pierced Clothing is for those who love Jesus and approach their service to Christ a little more relevantly to certain urban sub-cultures, willing to approach the darker places of the world, without living like the world, in order to bring hope to the lost without compromise.

Most people want to wear our shirts, the problem is they're too scared of the judgment of other Christians. As long as you can explain and defend the Message behind the art of the design you're wearing, there should be no issues...if there still are, these are the walls we need to break down in the Church. The question shouldn't be "Why would you wear skulls like that, skulls are evil!" (pre-conceived judgment). The question others in the Church should ask is "What do the skulls on your shirt mean to you?" (dual-perspective, respecting the other persons choice to represent Christ in his/her own way). We do believe there are design limits, but Pierced Clothing designs in no way come close to crossing that line as far as we're concerned...but in the end your decision must be based relative to your current personal convictions in Christ. We feel the need to clarify because there are many Christians who are wrestling daily with this issue. Our only hope is that this store helps to strengthen and re-spark your Faith.
