In late 2006, I stood on top of a small mountain as I caught my breath. Stretched out before me was the sun, just beginning to set behind a collection of small islands scattered through the ocean below. At that moment, on this isolated and remote mountain, I realised that I was the only person who was seeing everything that I was. It became a life changing moment for me. What had previously been only a casual hobby of photography, instead became a passion for collecting these brief moments on my journey through life... so that they can be shared by those whose eyes were on something else for that short moment of time.
